It was a good night for the Malaysian teams as both the men and women came back from behind to win their respective games. Our boys roared back from a deficit that was a large as 16 at one point to clinch their third win of the tournament, beating the Chosun University team 97-83.
The Koreans opened the game with a 9-2 run, as our boys had yet to find their shooting touch. The Chosun University boys shot the ball well hitting four 3-pointers in the first quarter.. . |

The Malaysia Women's team managed to hold off the Singapore Home United Basketball Club in a nail-biting overtime thriller to win 73-68.
Cheryl Poon from Home United drained a 3-pointer to open the game. However, our girls went on a 9-0 run immediately after. The Malaysian defense managed to force the Home United players to turn the ball over and extended their lead... |

The Pure Youth Construction team has won their fourth consecutive game,
beating the Zhuhai Enterprise Group team soundly with a score of 94-66.
The Pure Youth team were faster, fitter and more aggressive than their
Chinese counterparts. Li Jin from Zhuhai opened up the score with a dunk
to give the Chinese their only lead of the game at 2-0. The Pure Youth

The Guangzhou Youth team got the better of the Haishan High School girls, winning comfortably with a score of 88-72, and further securing their chances of winning the inaugural women's category of the MIBC.

The Philippines Pharex Bidang Generix team came out with a lot of energy today. It was apparent that the Filipino boys were feeling good about themselves this afternoon. Shooting a fantastic 54% from 3-point range, the Pharex Bidang Generix team pulled off their first win against the Hong Kong China team 97-92.
